The Federation of Accredited Extracurricular Student Organization also known as FAESO is a mother organization of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines - Cagayan de Oro Campus (USTP - CdO). From the main description itself as a mother, it overlooks and cares for its siblings which are called unit organizations of the said university. It creates linkages through different sectors ranging from local up to international organizations. It approves the activities of the unit organizations through due process and deep scrutiny. It promotes accredited extra-curricular organizations through supporting them in various activities such as but not limited to involvement fairs, organization days, etc. It encourages the organizations to unite and coordinate in planning of events. It helps and formulates both the organization itself and other organizations to have sustainable projects centered on advocacies aimed to address relevant and prevailing societal issues.
