The Federation of Accredited Extra-curricular Student Organization (FAESO) claimed triumph in the first ever Katiguman Awards as they have won the Outstanding Organization Award at the Lapasan covered court last August 10, 2019.
The Katiguman Awards is an event by Barangay Lapasan in partnership with the LGBT Organization of Lapasan that gives recognition to organizations within the vicinity for their dedication for the benefit of the community. FAESO is among the organizations that is invited and nominated specifically in Environmental Awareness and Outstanding Organization.
FAESO has been an active organization doing programs for the betterment of the community not only inside the university (USTP) but also outside the campus. They have been involved in activities that helped many people and some of these are the Febibigayan Outreach Program, Yaka:Kaya, Magpakabana Kita and etc. The organization has been attaining awards through these programs and also won the same title in last year's Kahamili Awards."We hope for more partnership from our school to this Barangay Hall Lapasan and this is certainly not the last time that we will serve with Barangay Lapasan," assured Crush Joshua Baja, FAESO President to the barangay as he received the award.
