The Playmakers Audition last 20th ,21 st and 24th of July 2018 spearheaded by the Playmakers’ existing members that was held at ICT-AVR building 9 in order to identify what does an aspirant have to be as qualified Playmakers member.
It was a moment to unleash the music in every aspirant of the USTP community through this event that would showcase their talent in music that was themed: “Sync your soul to the beat, unleash the music in you.” According to Ms. Angela Nicole Mercado, it was meant to be going with the beat itself that signifies as a Playmaker, since it is their passion to play and they want to share their God given talents to inspire others as well. Also, as amateurs, they truly believe that they have the talent and there’s more than what they have and can do more than what they appear to be. Aside from talent, they were also searching for musicians that possess humility, politeness and someone who has a good character the moment they were on the spot.
Although the event didn’t start on time that was announced and it was fairly organized. The singers and different instrument players should be grouped in one area to maintain order and only the people who auditioned must be allowed to go inside to lessen the crowd.
Overall, despite of these adversities, the goal of this event was clearly discerned as they gave most of the aspirants their time to indeed unleash the music from within.
