University Digital Arts (UDA) of University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines conducts sequel of Still Graphics Workshop named Vector Graphics Workshop. This was held at the 9th Building, Sunday the 16th of December.
Students from across colleges are one with the organization in realizing the said event. It commenced with an introduction from the organization president Mr. Nik Cyrell Yabo, and the latter are all discussions and presentations.
Mr. Lee Archimedes Cañada, an illustrator and UDA Creative Director for Still Graphics is the morning resource speaker. He kicked off the discussion by differentiating the characteristics and advantages of the two editing software made by Adobe Inc. – the Photoshop and the Illustrator. Proceeding with his discussions, he dissected each tool present in the software. Examples and further elaboration was spoken and actual demonstration is done. He even gave tips for the students on how to make a pleasing output and also for efficiency purposes.
Other announced speakers through the organization’s social media account are Mr. Tyron Hawkins Bato, UDA President 2017-2018, and Mr. Jhuemarie Abueva, a graphics artist at Platypus Media PH.
The event only conveyed twelve participants for the said workshop but is still hoping to have more participants the next time around. UDA members and directors of specific fields were also present, assisting participants if ever in need. The event workshop ended up by showcasing the outputs made by the participants.
The event pushes the vision of educating students and finding life through modern art. UDA partnered with USTP-ICpEP.SE for realization of the said workshop.
