UDA General Assembly

Spearheaded by Nik Yabo (UDA president), together with Jiffer John Taala (UDA Moderator) and Jerwin Borres (FAESO Moderator), the UDA General Assembly was successfully conducted on the 29th of July this year at ITB-AVR with the theme, “Let’s Volt In”. The event was intended for advocating unity amidst diversity.


There are series of talks from different people with different views. The first speaker namely, Nik Yabo ensure if the members really know their purpose upon joining the organization as an opening remark. On the next speaker, Romando Lonon (Former President of UDA), talked about the Five Departments of UDA (Still Graphics, Vector Graphics, Motion Graphics, Videography, and Photography). He also mention his experiences in UDA and the things he learned that make him who he is now. He is now a fully pledge Motion Graphics designer at Platypus Media Ph, a Computer Engineering graduate of USTP. For the last speaker as sort of reminding the members, Paul Cabusca talked about Exploration, Curiosity and Inspiration. He encourages each one of the members to never stop learning. Future projects and ongoing projects and collaboration such as Intramural Games, Gender Sensitivity Campaign, Dark Green Project, and Adopt a Barangay (FAESO project and Unit organization) is also highlighted during the forum of members in which Sir Jiffer John Taala gave some advice.



Interactive activities such as games related to Digital arts is inserted in the event. They also announce the LAKIP winner, Ethan Campomanes although he wasn’t able to attend the General Assembly but rest assured that his artwork will be showcased during the Student Involvement fair.


Feedbacks on the impacts of UDA group were members have been posting their works which is a success indicator on the said event.
